We exist to provide opportunities for student voice, tools to succeed and lead, and to cultivate thinkers who can change the world. We do this by using researched based curriculum, looking at data to guide our instruction to meet the needs of all students, and to nurture students to be their best selves.

What Makes Indian Springs Outstanding

Indian Springs Elementary School is a welcoming Kindergarten through 5th grade public school located at 50 East Henderson Road in Columbus, Ohio. With around 360 students and a dedicated team of about 19 teachers, we strive to foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child is known, respected, and supported. 

Our school’s educational mission is rooted in providing “opportunities for student voice, tools to succeed and lead, and to cultivate thinkers who can change the world.” We are committed to high academic standards aligned with Ohio’s state benchmarks. Our staff includes highly qualified and, in some cases, nationally certified teachers who work diligently to meet each child’s learning needs—whether through differentiated instruction, enrichment, or intervention services. 

Beyond academics, Indian Springs thrives because of strong parent and community engagement. Our active PTA organizes events and experiences such as STEM/Arts Nights, Read-a-Thons, field days, and our beloved “Falcon Fest,” giving students the chance to explore interests, build friendships, and belong to a vibrant school community. We believe in equipping students not only with knowledge, but also with lifelong skills and a love of learning that will serve them long after they leave our halls.
